Salam signs 29 partnerships at LEAP 2026 as it expands digital transformation role
Etihad Salam Telecom Company concluded its participation at LEAP 2026 as a strategic sponsor, after signing 29 strategic partnerships during the exhibition under its Powering What’s Next theme.
The company said its presence at LEAP 2026, held during the Year of AI, moved beyond technology showcases to demonstrate Salam’s development into a digital transformation partner for businesses, governments, and communities across Saudi Arabia.
At the center of Salam’s participation was its Connectivity+ strategy, a unified approach that brings together connectivity, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and AI-enabled services into one offering. According to the company, the strategy reflects its shift from a product-focused telecommunications provider to an integrated solutions partner.
Ahmed Al-Anqari, Chief Executive Officer of Salam, said LEAP 2026 was “a declaration of direction.” He said the role of a telecom company in the AI era is to make AI easy to use, keep it inside the Kingdom, and bring it closer to every Saudi business, from giga-projects to smaller family-run businesses.
Al-Anqari added that Salam’s partnerships, technology showcases, and conversations at the exhibition demonstrated the company’s work to build what he described as the digital backbone for Saudi Arabia’s future industries and long-term economic growth.
Salam’s exhibit included live demonstrations across sectors connected to the digital economy. The demonstrations covered manufacturing, Industry 4.0, AI-powered healthcare solutions, mobility, logistics, enterprise infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
The showcases were supported by the strategic partnerships Salam formalized at LEAP 2026. The 29 partnerships included local, regional, and global organizations across telecommunications and digital infrastructure, cloud and data solutions, cybersecurity, enterprise technology, localization, financial services, and mobility.
The company said its participation represented its journey toward becoming a digital transformation partner in Saudi Arabia’s technology market. Salam aims to support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals through infrastructure, partnerships, talent, and strategy.
