Editors Team

Black Hat Middle East and Africa 2025 is set to return to Riyadh between 2-4 December 2025, taking place at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Center – Malham.

With expectations of more than 45,000 attendees, over 450 exhibitors, 300 speakers, and more than 250 hours of curated cybersecurity content, this year’s edition continues the rapid expansion of one of the world’s most influential cybersecurity gatherings. For 2025, MENA TECH joins Black Hat MEA as a media partner, supporting the coverage of a landmark event that has become a defining part of the region’s technology calendar.

Organized by Tahaluf in partnership with the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, Black Hat MEA has quickly evolved from a regional initiative into a global platform that mirrors the accelerating digital transformation across the Middle East and Africa.

Riyadh’s development into a hub for cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and artificial intelligence provides a fitting backdrop for conversations that increasingly shape both enterprise environments and national strategies. The 2025 edition will deepen this focus, offering an agenda that brings together senior policymakers, global CISOs, security architects, ethical hackers, researchers, solution providers, and early-stage innovators.

The event’s program reflects the complexity of today’s cybersecurity landscape. Executive summits will bring together leaders from government and industry to discuss topics such as cyber resilience, AI governance, regulatory developments, and the protection of critical infrastructure, all of which have become central to the region’s digital-economy vision. Meanwhile, the Briefings track will host technical sessions led by security researchers, engineers, and practitioners presenting original findings, new tools, and real-world case studies on emerging threats and defensive methodologies.

Black Hat MEA 2025 will also introduce expanded program elements designed to support specialized sectors. The newly launched Black Hat MEA Financial Summit will gather cybersecurity leaders from banking, fintech, and payments to examine risk trends shaping digital finance. The event’s Arsenal and Business Hall environments will feature advanced tools, platforms, and demonstrations spanning cloud security, identity and access management, threat intelligence, OT security, and SOC modernization.

The Cyber Seed Startup Village returns in a significantly enhanced format, offering founders a dedicated environment to present new products, meet potential partners, and engage with investors focused on cybersecurity, AI, cloud-native defense, and sovereign technology development. For students and early-career professionals, the event will offer deep-dive labs, expanded training tracks, and a large-scale Capture the Flag competition, reinforcing Black Hat MEA’s commitment to bridging the cybersecurity skills gap.

Over its three days, Black Hat MEA 2025 will continue to provide a space where technical expertise, policy discussions, and industry collaboration intersect. As the event strengthens its position as a global meeting point for cybersecurity innovation, MENA TECH, through its role as media partner, will offer comprehensive coverage of the themes and discussions shaping this year’s edition, providing readers across the Middle East and North Africa with clear insight into the trends redefining the cyber landscape.
