HONOR X9e Pro opens for pre-order in UAE from AED 1,499

HONOR opened pre-orders for the HONOR X9e Pro in the UAE, introducing the first Pro-branded model in its X Series. The company is positioning the device around durability, battery life, display performance, imaging, and AI features.

The phone is available for pre-order from October 22 at a starting price of AED 1,499 through HONOR’s official online store and participating retailers. General sales are scheduled to begin on October 30, 2026.

As part of the launch, HONOR said the Burj Khalifa will be illuminated with HONOR X9e Pro branding, marking the company’s return to the landmark five years after using it to showcase the HONOR Magic3 in 2021.

Durability rated for drops up to 3 meters

HONOR says the HONOR X9e Pro is engineered to withstand drops from heights of up to 3 meters using a new 360-degree shock-absorbing architecture designed to reduce impact damage from different angles and surfaces. The drop-resistance figure is based on HONOR laboratory testing.

The phone has also received SGS Premium Performance 5-Star Drop Resistance Certification and carries an IP69K water-resistance rating. According to HONOR, testing included immersion scenarios of up to 10 meters and exposure to hot-water splashes of up to 85°C.

Large 11,000 mAh battery

The HONOR X9e Pro uses a battery with a typical capacity of 11,000 mAh and a rated capacity of 10,510 mAh. HONOR describes it as one of the largest battery in the smartphone industry.

HONOR says the battery can provide up to three days of use under its defined mixed-usage scenario. The phone supports up to 80W HONOR SuperCharge as well as 27W wired reverse charging for compatible devices and accessories.

The company also says the battery is designed to maintain strong performance for up to six years, positioning long-term battery durability as another focus of the device.

High-brightness display

The HONOR X9e Pro features a 6.8-inch 1.5K display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. HONOR claims the display can reach peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits and includes a hardware-level 1-nit ultra-dark mode for low-light use. The company also includes eye-comfort technologies and touch recognition designed to work with wet hands and gloves.

AI-Powered Professional Photography

The HONOR X9e Pro includes a 108MP main camera and CIPA 6.0-level stabilization combining optical and electronic image stabilization. HONOR also highlights underwater color correction for photography below the surface.

AI features include AI FreeGrip for one-handed use, adaptive left- and right-hand recognition, Google Gemini integration, and Creative Editor 2.0.

Creative Editor 2.0 also includes AI Image to Video, which can turn a still image into a short animated video by adding movement to static content.

Colors and pre-order offers

The HONOR X9e Pro will be available in Deep Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold, and Midnight Black.

During the pre-order period, HONOR says customers will receive HONOR VIP Care+, including 12-month damage protection valued at AED 199, a 24-month battery guarantee valued at AED 99, and an HONOR Watch X5 Play valued at AED 199.

The package also includes warranty coverage across India, Pakistan, Egypt, and GCC markets, which HONOR values at AED 149. The company says the total additional value of the pre-order package is AED 646.

Existing HONOR X9 Series users will also receive an additional 24-month HONOR Care warranty, valued by the company at AED 99, during both the pre-order and general-sale phases. HONOR says customers purchasing the X9e Pro can also enter a lucky draw for a chance to win the HONOR Robot Phone.
