e& UAE activates the highest 5.5G modulation (1024QAM) on its live network
& UAE has reached a breakthrough milestone in next-generation mobile network architecture, becoming the first telecom operator in the region to activate the highest 1024QAM modulation on its live, commercial 5.5G network. Real-time speed tests conducted on the live network recorded multi-gigabit download throughput peaking at 4.58 Gbps (4,587 Mbps).
The multi-gigabit milestone reflects e& UAE’s sustained infrastructure investments into high-density mobile networks. The high-speed test was executed directly on the newly unveiled HUAWEI Pura 90s smartphone, demonstrating the device’s capability to process 1024QAM modulation layers natively.
Quadrature Amplitude Modulation at the 1024QAM tier represents the highest-order modulation configuration available inside current 5.5G standards, packing significantly more binary data into every radio transmission symbol.
