Korean-Emirati space cooperation is in the works, according to reports
According to WAM, Win Marshal Bronzwall, chief global business officer and managing director of Innospace, a South Korean private aerospace company, has announced that a joint strategic cooperation initiative with the United Arab Emirates is in progress.
Bonzwall announced the collaboration in a recent interview at the Dubai Airshow 2025. He confirmed that the project is expected to take shape next year, serving as a new catalyst for strengthening global partnerships and supporting the UAE’s goals in advancing next-generation space technologies and solutions.
While Bonzwall didn’t specify exactly what the cooperation would involve or its specific goals, he explained that this kind of collaboration highlights the UAE’s established role as a major international hub for the growth of the space industry. He credited the country’s quick adoption of new technologies and its ability to create a competitive, attractive environment for specialized companies worldwide.
It’s worth noting that the UAE has experienced a “space renaissance” in recent years. The country has launched numerous satellites for various purposes and undertaken other space missions, including the “Rashid Rover 2,” which is scheduled to explore the far side of the moon in 2026.
