Huawei launches Watch GT 7 Pro with 21-day battery and new outdoor sports features
Huawei has unveiled the Watch GT 7 Pro at its latest global product launch in Munich, placing outdoor sports, health tracking and battery life at the centre of its newest premium smartwatch.
The GT 7 Pro sits at the top of the new Watch GT 7 lineup, which Huawei introduced alongside several other devices during its September launch event.
Titanium meets nano-tech ceramic
Huawei has given the Watch GT 7 Pro a more premium construction than the standard GT 7, combining a titanium-alloy middle frame with a nano-tech ceramic bezel.
The watch also features a 1.47-inch sapphire-glass display capable of reaching up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness, according to Huawei.
Its new EasyCross strap is designed to sit securely around the wrist during training while allowing users to tuck the loose end beneath the band.
More attention to outdoor sports
Huawei is expanding the sports capabilities of the GT series with this generation.
The Watch GT 7 series introduces wrist-based turn detection and G-force detection, alongside new cycling features including climb-route planning, slope alerts and warnings for sharp turns.
Huawei says AI-powered cycling insights will also become available through an OTA update.
The GT 7 Pro adds new dedicated skiing and cycling modes, with Huawei positioning the model more strongly toward users who train outdoors or regularly track longer activities.
Up to 21 days between charges
Huawei rates the Watch GT 7 Pro for up to 21 days under light use, up to 12 days with typical use and up to 51 hours in trail-running mode. Actual battery performance will vary depending on the features enabled and usage patterns.
Health Insights gets more useful
The Watch GT 7 series also brings an updated version of Huawei’s Health Insights platform.
One of the additions is Physical Readiness, which is designed to assess recovery and help users better understand whether their body is ready for activity or may benefit from additional rest.
Huawei says its smart health analysis can also turn collected health and activity data into clearer, more actionable recommendations.
Price and colours
Huawei showed the Watch GT 7 Pro in Green, Yellow and Black during the Munich event.
The Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro is priced at €429 in Europe, equivalent to approximately $497 based on exchange rates at the time of publication.
The dollar figure is a conversion of Huawei’s European launch price rather than an official US retail price, and regional pricing and availability may differ.
The Watch GT 7 Pro launches alongside the standard Watch GT 7, which is available in 46 mm and 41 mm versions as Huawei expands its smartwatch range across several price points.

The standard Huawei Watch GT 7 starts at €299, while the Watch GT 7 Pro carries a European launch price of €429.
