AI Everything is coming to Egypt in February: MENA TECH, a media partner
The eyes of the regional AI scene are all set on Cairo now, as the Egyptian capital is set to host AI Everything Middle East & Africa – Egypt 2026, a part of the global AI Everything franchise.
The event will take place on 11–12 February 2026 at the New Cairo International Exhibition & Conference Center. It is organized by GITEX GLOBAL and hosted in partnership with Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA). MENA TECH will be present at the event as a media partner, cementing its role in supporting the regional tech scene across the Middle East and North Africa.
The event marks the inaugural edition of AI Everything MEA in Egypt, bringing global AI leaders and innovators together to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming economies, industries, and societies across the region. AI Everything MEA Egypt is a part of the broader AI Everything network of AI and tech summits, including flagship gatherings in the UAE. The event is now positioned as the Middle East and Africa’s most empowering global AI tech week.
For two days, the event will convene senior decision-makers, policymakers, researchers, AI practitioners, startup founders, corporate leaders, and investors from over 30 countries, reflecting Egypt’s growing role in the global technology landscape.
Egypt’s strategic importance
Egypt’s hosting of AI Everything MEA aligns with the nation’s long-term goals of becoming a regional AI hub and anchoring a thriving digital economy. The event will not only spotlight Egypt’s rapidly developing AI ecosystem, but also accelerate collaboration between governments, tech companies, startups, and investors across the Middle East & Africa.
Additionally, the summit will support the objectives of Egypt’s National AI Strategy (2025–2030), which aims to unlock economic value, grow ICT job creation, and drive tech-led transformation across sectors.
Global presence of AI talents
Over two days, AI Everything MEA will feature a robust program of ministerial summits, keynote presentations, expert panels, product showcases, workshops, and startup competitions.
The event will feature more than 100 enterprises, 250 startups, and 100 investors from more than 30 countries across the region and the world.
Topics span critical AI domains, including responsible AI governance, digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital finance, health technology, IoT and smart cities, automation, and frontier technologies such as quantum computing.
Startups taking center-stage
A highlight of the program is the “AI 200” startup showcase, an initiative that connects high-growth AI innovators with global investors, partners, and media to drive funding and scale-up opportunities.
Additionally, the world’s largest startup pitch competition, the “Supernova Challenge,” is coming to Egypt for the first time, giving entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch live before renowned investors and industry judges. Supported by matchmaking, mentoring, and investor meetings, the program underscores the event’s role as a catalyst for startup growth in the region.
Global Collaboration and AI Leadership
The list of speakers and contributors includes ministers, senior government officials, and executives from leading global technology companies. Confirmed participants span international organizations, AI research groups, financial institutions, and corporate innovation functions, reinforcing the event’s mission to facilitate cross-sector partnerships and knowledge exchange.
