{"id":449788,"date":"2025-11-20T08:22:48","date_gmt":"2025-11-20T05:22:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/menatech.net\/en\/?p=449788"},"modified":"2025-11-20T10:27:33","modified_gmt":"2025-11-20T07:27:33","slug":"autonomous-delivery-vehicles-will-roam-abu-dhabi-streets-in-a-new-pilot-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/menatech.net\/en\/autonomous-delivery-vehicles-will-roam-abu-dhabi-streets-in-a-new-pilot-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Autonomous delivery vehicles will roam Abu Dhabi streets in a new pilot program"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC), part of the UAE\u2019s Department of Municipalities and Transport, has launched a pilot program in Abu Dhabi to introduce autonomous e-commerce delivery vehicles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The initiative is being carried out in partnership with the local e-commerce platform \u201cNoon\u201d and AutoGo, a subsidiary of K2.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>This move continues ITC\u2019s ongoing efforts to develop the Emirate\u2019s smart mobility ecosystem and strengthen Abu Dhabi\u2019s position as a leader in digital transformation and sustainable transportation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>As part of the project, AutoGo\u2019s autonomous delivery vehicles are being integrated into Noon\u2019s logistics network to improve the efficiency of resupplying mini-fulfillment centers across Abu Dhabi and to support the smart mobility system through advanced self-driving technologies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Equipped with AI and next-generation sensors, the vehicles can navigate urban areas safely and efficiently, delivering orders directly without human involvement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>This development marks a major advance for Abu Dhabi\u2019s logistics industry, integrating smart mobility with e-commerce to enhance efficiency, cut congestion and emissions, and boost customer satisfaction.
