vivo launches its new V70 smartphone across the Middle East
vivo has announced the global launch of its new vivo V70 smartphone, introducing a device that combines ZEISS-powered imaging, artificial intelligence features, and a refined design to enhance mobile photography and performance.
vivo said the V70 represents a major step forward in smartphone imaging, integrating ZEISS optics with advanced artificial intelligence capabilities. The device features a 50-megapixel ZEISS Super Telephoto camera with a large professional-grade sensor and Optical Image Stabilization designed to deliver clear images even in low-light conditions.

The camera system also includes a 50MP ZEISS OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, along with a 50MP autofocus front camera for group selfies and content creation. The periscope-style telephoto design enables higher levels of optical zoom while maintaining a slim device profile.
Among the device’s new software features is AI Stage Mode, which is designed to capture stage performances and live events with improved clarity while supporting up to 10x zoom using AI algorithms. Additional ZEISS portrait styles using focal lengths such as 85mm and 100mm provide cinematic depth effects in portrait photography.

The vivo V70 also supports 4K video recording at 60 frames per second and includes AI Audio Noise Eraser technology designed to remove background noise during video editing.
Beyond photography, the device integrates a range of AI editing tools, including AI Magic Weather, AI Magic Landscape, AI Erase, AI Image Expander, and AI Color Adjustment, allowing users to modify and enhance images directly on the device.

The smartphone features a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and ultra-thin bezels. It is built with an aerospace-grade aluminum alloy frame and scratch-resistant AG glass, with colour options including a Golden Hour finish with a “Sunset Glow” design.
For durability, the device carries IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings and is designed to withstand drops of up to 1.8 meters. Security features include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that unlocks even with wet fingers.
The vivo V70 runs OriginOS 6, which introduces AI-powered productivity features including Origin Island, AI Search, AI Creation, and AI Captions for real-time translation and meeting summaries. The device also supports cross-device file sharing through One-Tap Transfer and the vivo Office Kit.
Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, supported by a large cooling chamber designed to maintain performance during intensive tasks such as gaming or video editing. The device is powered by a 6500mAh BlueVolt battery with 90W fast charging.
vivo said the device has begun rolling out across Middle Eastern markets as part of a phased global launch strategy.
