Tuwaiq Academy launches the Kaspersky Academy in Saudi Arabia during Black Hat MEA 2025

Tuwaiq Academy announced, during the main stage activities at Black Hat 2025, the launch of the region’s first-ever Kaspersky Academy, hosted within Tuwaiq Academy. The initiative aims to empower local talent and national competencies through specialized bootcamps and high-quality programs that use a hands-on learning methodology in cybersecurity.

The academy was officially launched by Mohammed Hashem, General Manager for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain at Kaspersky, who stated: “We are proud to partner with Tuwaiq Academy to help advance cybersecurity education and talent development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Strengthening national cyber resilience begins with equipping learners, educators, and institutions with the right knowledge, tools, and support. Through this cooperation, we aim to contribute our expertise, technologies, and global experience to expand practical skills, raise awareness, and support the preparation of highly qualified professionals ready to meet the demands of the cybersecurity industry. We look forward to working together to inspire talent and contribute to the country’s digital future.” Said Mohamad Hashem, General Manager for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain at Kaspersky.”

The academy will offer intensive technical bootcamps with globally recognized professional certifications delivered through a practical, application-based approach. It will also provide several additional technical and enrichment programs designed to build skills and nurture talent across various advanced technology and cybersecurity fields.

It is worth noting that Tuwaiq Academy offers numerous technical bootcamps and activities through its six global partner academies, including the Apple Developer Academy, the Amazon Academy, and the Holberton Academy, among others, that have chosen Tuwaiq Academy as their regional headquarters.
