TikTok LIVE Fest MENAT concludes with a Dubai celebration
TikTok held its LIVE Fest 2025 MENAT event in Dubai, bringing together creators, artists, and platform executives to highlight the growing role of livestreaming across the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey. The event took place at Ain Dubai Plaza and formed part of TikTok’s global LIVE Fest series.
According to TikTok, more than 1.4 million creators from the MENAT region participated in LIVE Fest 2025 activities throughout the year, reflecting the scale of livestreaming adoption on the platform. The company added that livestreaming activity in the region grew significantly in 2025, with LIVE content up over 44% and LIVE viewership up more than 40% year on year.
The Dubai event followed an online tournament held in November 2025, where creators collaborated across borders and engaged with audiences in real time. LIVE Fest MENAT marked the offline conclusion of that competition, recognizing creators for performance, engagement, and community building on TikTok LIVE.
The on-stage program featured performances by several regional and international artists, including Egyptian singer Tamer Hosny, Turkish singer Gökçe Özgülok, Yasmina A., and TikTok LIVE creator Amr Mano, who debuted an original song during the event. Other performances included a live drum show and a helicopter display, previously popularized on TikTok Live. The event concluded with a drone show integrating a real-time TikTok LIVE match display involving creators from different regions.
TikTok also announced the winners of its LIVE Fest MENAT awards, recognizing creators across multiple categories. Abo Hamad was named MENA LIVE Creator of the Year, while Amr Mano received the Music Creator of the Year award. Douha Laribii won Beauty and Fashion Creator of the Year, and Sahar Suleiman received the Business Excellence Award. Tamer Hosny received the special Megastar of the Year recognition. Additional creators honored included Al Maha, Halmos, Abdulla AlHamar, and Ammar Alkoofe.
Speaking at the event, TikTok LIVE representatives said creators were selected through open participation and performance metrics, and emphasized that award recipients were recognized for sustained audience engagement rather than one-off viral success.
TikTok said its livestreaming features, including multi-guest sessions, have enabled creators in the MENAT region to collaborate across borders and expand their reach. The company added that livestreaming continues to play an increasingly important role in content creation, audience engagement, and monetization on the platform across the region.
