Samsung Electronics unveiled its “Companion to AI Living” plan at The First Look during CES 2026 in Las Vegas, framing artificial intelligence as the layer connecting product development, operations, and day-to-day user experience across devices.

Samsung’s display lineup centered on a 130-inch Micro RGB TV and a Vision AI Companion feature designed to support voice requests, viewing recommendations, and TV-based lifestyle prompts like meal ideas. The company also highlighted new Wi-Fi speakers, updated TVs with HDR10+ ADVANCED and Eclipsa Audio, and an expanded Odyssey gaming monitor lineup, alongside a promise of seven years of Tizen OS upgrades on supported models.

In home appliances, Samsung pointed to SmartThings serving more than 430 million users as of December 2025, and outlined updates to its Family Hub refrigerator, including AI Vision built with Google Gemini for improved food recognition and tracking. New features also covered recipe recommendations and weekly food reports, plus connected experiences that can send steps and settings to other appliances.

Samsung also spotlighted new laundry and cleaning products, including the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, the Bespoke AI AirDresser with wrinkle care features, and the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra, which it positioned as capable of recognizing liquid spills and supporting home monitoring through its camera features.

On digital health, Samsung outlined a longer-term shift toward proactive care using signals from phones, wearables, and appliances, including plans for personalized coaching and health-data sharing through the Xealth platform for virtual consultations. The company also emphasized Samsung Knox and Knox Matrix as the security foundation for its connected, AI-driven ecosystem.
