Acer expands e-mobility lineup with the Predator ES Storm Pro e-scooter
Acer recently unveiled the Predator ES Storm Pro, an electric scooter engineered for high-performance urban mobility. The launch further strengthens Acer’s expanding e-mobility portfolio, offering riders more intelligent and adaptable transportation options for modern city environments.
Designed for users who frequently travel longer distances or navigate more demanding routes, including mixed-surface roads, the Predator ES Storm Pro is powered by a 500 W rear hub motor with a peak output of up to 1200 W, supported by a 48 V electrical system. This configuration enables responsive acceleration and stable cruising speeds across varied terrain. Multiple riding modes allow users to fine-tune performance characteristics according to their preference for efficiency or power.
To enhance stability and control, particularly on wet or uneven surfaces, the scooter combines a traction control system (TCS) with 10-inch tubeless pneumatic tires, a front fork suspension, and a rear double-spring shock absorber. Braking is handled by a front disc brake and a rear eABS system, delivering consistent, reliable stopping performance in busy urban settings.

With a weight of only 22.5 kg for the scooter, the foldable aluminum frame balances durability with portability, allowing it to be compactly stored at home, at work, or on public transport. It also has an IPX5 water-resistance rating.
In line with the Predator design identity, RGB lighting elements improve visibility and provide clearer signaling during braking and turning. A built-in holder for compatible smart tracking tags lets users attach their preferred tracking accessory for easier location if the scooter is misplaced.
The Predator ES Storm Pro delivers a riding range of up to 60 km on a single charge, making it suitable for extended city commutes. To support its extended range, the scooter’s regenerative braking system (KERS), working alongside eABS, recovers energy during deceleration and feeds it back into the battery.

The scooter connects to the Acer eMobility app, which provides access to ride statistics and real-time vehicle information, including battery status and estimated remaining range. Users can adjust selected settings directly through the app and customize lighting effects for a personalized touch. The app also includes an electronic locking feature to enhance day-to-day security when paired with a compatible smartphone.
Specifications, pricing, and availability for the scooter may vary by region. Detailed information on local availability is available on Acer’s official website at www.acer.com.
