The Artificial Intelligence Professionals Bootcamp, organized by the SDAIA Academy, launched yesterday to equip graduates of technical disciplines with advanced skills for work in data and artificial intelligence, including their applications. The program runs for two months in Riyadh, the capital.

The boot camp is part of the Academy’s efforts to build specialized national capabilities. It focuses on delivering practical, hands-on knowledge and covers the full artificial intelligence lifecycle in an integrated manner. The curriculum begins with data engineering and data pipeline design, advanced exploratory data analysis, and progresses through the development of traditional and deep learning models. It also includes fine-tuning processes using the latest libraries and technologies, as well as generative AI applications built on large language models and the design of retrieval-augmented generation pipelines to improve output accuracy and efficiency.

The program trains participants to master the Python programming language and develop application programming interfaces (APIs), in addition to thoroughly preparing production environments through continuous integration and development practices. This ensures the ability to build deployable, production-ready technical solutions with high operational efficiency. The bootcamp concludes with a capstone project in which each participant presents a fully integrated prototype that addresses a real-world challenge and aligns with approved technical quality standards.

The Academy is one of the initiatives of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) aimed at building and developing national talent, enhancing the readiness of young professionals to enter the artificial intelligence job market, and supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to strengthen national capabilities.
