$50 million funding for a UAE-based startup to improve government services with AI
Origen, a UAE-based technology startup, has reportedly secured a $50 million strategic investment to integrate artificial intelligence into practical applications across government operations, residential environments, and the manufacturing sector in the UAE.
Abu Dhabi-headquartered BlueFive Capital provided the full funding, according to a company statement.
According to Origen, which was founded in 2025, the funding will support faster product development, strengthen strategic alliances, and recruit highly specialized talent to advance its growth plans.
According to the announcement, Origen also intends to tackle inefficiencies in government services, although it did not elaborate on specific initiatives or implementation plans.
Currently, Origen offers four core services: digital twin technology, a geospatial intelligence platform, an agentic AI system designed for enterprises, and a smart home solution.
The company describes SpatialWare as a digital twin platform built for the physical environment, enabling users to design and coordinate projects at scales from citywide infrastructure to individual building elements, all within a unified platform. Stellaware, Origen’s geospatial data platform, delivers analytics and intelligence powered by data collected from 400 low-Earth-orbit satellites.
For corporate users, the company offers AWF, an AI agent that processes documents, screenshots, Excel spreadsheets, system logs, and other data formats, then embeds those insights directly into business workflows. Origen’s smart home product, Domia, applies AI to coordinate and control connected household devices, including surveillance cameras, security systems, and climate management tools.
